After a year of Keys Planning and Events helping to assist in planning their perfect day June 2nd 2019 was finally here!! With the help of the lovely officiant Lisa Braden, Lindsay and Derk tied the knot. These two competed in the Albany All Stars Roller Derby together. They say couples who skate together stay together. Because of their love of the rink, they choreographed their first dance on roller skates to the song “It was Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colby Caillat played by the band Phase 5, all caught on video by The Fearless Studios for the videography.

Lindsay and all of her Mermaids looked even more glamorous due to Ana Baidet and her crew Beautiful Brides Florida Keys. Derk and all of his Scallywags arrived looking dapper as well.

This beautiful couple chose to stay at the Amara Cay Resorts in Islamorada with Coral Keys Party Rentals hired to install the dance floor, bistro lighting, and band stage, Unique Delights was in charge of dessert display and the tasty treats. Studio South for all personal flowers and Caribbean Catering for floral reception centerpieces.. Every moment of this amazingly memorable day was captured by Lisa and Greg Poland’s Photography.

Since the start of their new lives together they have a house full of four legged babies Frogette the frog, Freya the cat, Fern and Gully the hedgehogs. Lindsay and Derk plan to visit the Keys to celebrate their 1 year anniversary with many more to come.
